Pigs are a great source of protein, Goats are meat high in protein but mixed with pork in sausages will give a flavor like no other. Goats will come at a later time and only a few will be raised. Pheasant meat is a delicacy, and Rabbit is the Healthiest meat available.
We also hope to provide goat milk and cheese products, and pheasant eggs for some dairy needs at a later time.
We plan to provide over a million pounds of meat per year to our communities, taking that burden off the government will help our debt crisis. We can provide meat for up to 800 meals per 200 pound pig.
We have a small charity corporation to keep overhead costs down and all 100% of the donations stays within the corporation, will all of our officers in volunteer positions at present, the only paid positions will be our farm manager.
We are checking into programs to help the churches, Teen High School programs and Soup Kitchens around the local area and in Washington State.
Our meat will be distributed freshly frozen from the processor to the programs in need. We hope to Start distributing within 6-8 months after purchasing our first animals.
We are also planning a small processing plant on the property to cut out on the cost per bird at processors therefore saving money to put back into more animals for the meat to daonate out.
We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) tax exempt status from the IRS.
